Pool Area
September 26, 2008
Pool ventilation update: The fans for the pool area have been purchased!! Once they arrived to our club we will begin to install them in the pool area which is to take place within the next 2 weeks. We have to run electrical wires and outlets to new locations. This is our first step to making the air in the pool area better.
Group Exercise
September 20, 2008
Comment: Please add a step class at the women’s center for Saturday mornings. Unable to make it certain times during the week and Saturday is the most convenient time for me to work out.
Answer: There have been several verbal suggestions in regards to adding a step class at the women’s center for Saturday mornings, and so because of such high demand we now have a step class on Saturday mornings at 9:00am which will be taught by Brittany.
Free Weights
September 19, 2008
Comment: It is important to tell people on the second floor to ask members to please not throw their weights. It is totally scary to be in the pool area with the loud noise coming from above.
Answer: Throwing weights around in the free weights area is a concern for us not only for the pool area but also for the maintenance of our equipment. Our floor staff is trained to make sure that members do not throw their weights around and are available to provide a spot if heavier weights are in use to help keep a safe environment for all.
Locker Room
September 26, 2008
Comment: It would be good to put telephones in the locker rooms to contact the front desk instead of having us run out of the locker rooms to ask for a locker to be opened up. Thanks
Answer: To combat those situations we have created a system where there will always be a staff member attending the locker room area. They are there to provide any assistance as necessary so that you don’t have to walk all the way up to the front desk in order to get your locker opened up.
