Our personal trainers come from varied educational backgrounds. Internships
In our quest to promote health and fitness education, GHFC offers internships to both students and non-students within the service staff departments.
The floor/service interns are required to fill out an application at the front desk of our Newberry location, along with passing through all three interviews. The internship time is divided as follows:
50% - Floor training and working directly with members building relationships and helping get results.
10% - Conducting body composition measurements for all members and guests.
40% - Shadows with the personal training department, weight loss system department, supervisors, sales department, and management team members.
Other activities for interns will include working in our Kid's Club, community outreach tours, league sports, health fairs, the planning and executing of special projects, and assistance with the hiring team and the interview process.
