How did you get into CrossFit?
I joined a CrossFit gym one summer while home from college looking to gain more knowledge about how to approach my own workout routines.
What sports have you played?
Baseball, Basketball, Track, Cross Country, Soccer, Hockey, and Slow Pitch Softball
What are your hobbies?
Most of my hobbies consist of trying to improve my understanding of exercise-related topics, but otherwise, I simply try to spend time with my wife and our dog.
What are your goals (professional/athletic/life)?
Professionally, my goals are to continue to learn so I can provide the best service possible to those around me. Athletically, my current goal is to qualify for one of the two top-level national events in USA Weightlifting.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I used to drive a tractor-trailer hauling cucumbers for my summer job during college.
What’s your favorite workout?
My favorite CrossFit workout would be Diane - 21-15-9 of Deadlifts and Handstand Push-ups, but my favorite lift is the snatch because of how complex the movement is and how precise you have to be to do it well.
