How did you get into CrossFit I decided to try CrossFit based on a friend's advice and fell in love with it ever since! CrossFit has challenged me to continue to improve the athletic abilities that I once found in sport. CrossFit has also helped me find a community of people that I can truly call my best friends!

What sports have you played? Softball, volleyball, weightlifting, track and cross country.

What are your hobbies? Playing with my puppies, boxing and CrossFit!

What are your goals (professional/athetic/life? My goal as a coach is to provide an environment of camaraderie and support to help people reach their goals and live healthier lives.

What's your favorite workout? Helen. 3 rounds for time: 400m run, 21 American kettlebell swings (50/35), 12 pull-ups

How did you get into CrossFit? I worked at a sports performance gym and learned a lot about Olympic lifting. Once I joined Gainesville Health & Fitness, I wanted to get into CrossFit right away just knowing about the atmosphere and community!

What sports have you played? Weightlifting, cheerleading, softball and flag football.

What are your hobbies? Playing with my pup, reading and being on the water!

What's your favorite workout? "DT" 5 rounds for time: 12 deadlifts Rx (155/105), 9 hang power cleans, 6 push jerks

How did you get into CrossFit?: I was looking for a new workout that would really challenge me. The idea of having the workouts change daily and to join a great community of people-  I was hooked instantly. 

What sports have you played? I actually never played a lot of sports competitively in high school or college- I was in the school band, haha! I have tried everything though from soccer, rowing, Ultimate Frisbee, to an adult kickball league- so I love to move!

What are your hobbies? Weightlifting,  CrossFit(duh!), movies, reading, and petting other peoples’ dogs.

What’s your Favorite Workout? It’s hard to choose! I love any workout with a lot of barbell cycling movements. “DT” is a good example of that!

How did you get into CrossFit? I really enjoyed calisthenic workouts and Olympic lifting, and wanted to work out in an environment with people who shared this same passion! I would often get bored doing typical body building exercises, but CrossFit always keeps me interested!

What are your hobbies? Besides CrossFit, I love to play beach volleyball and any activity outside. I also spend a lot of time riding horses with the UF Eventing team.

What is your favorite food? I looooove cheesy pasta dishes and quesadillas!

What is your favorite workout? Olympic lifting EMOMs are always really fun, or a WOD with handstands or muscle ups!

How did you get into CrossFit?
I received a gift card with 8 classes to try it out.  After one class I was hooked.  CrossFit provides a great variety of exercises challenging every part of the body, and some friendly competition. Something routine weight training didn’t provide.  I enjoy the atmosphere on the turf, and the mild muscle soreness the day after a good workout reminding me how affective it was.

What sports have you played?   
Football, baseball, basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I flew an F-15 fighter jet over Alaska.

What are your hobbies?
Working out, spending time with my daughters and poker. 

What are your goals (professional/athletic/life)?
Short-term is to continue to grow as an athlete and stay healthy, sharing my love for fitness with anyone coming out to the turf. Long-term is transition from my career in finance to a personal trainer in health and fitness.
