Membership Sales
Help prospective members unleash their fullest potential by joining GHF. Successful membership activators who are exceptionally likeable, goal driven, and competitive. You will create a personal book of business with prospects you generate, meeting daily, weekly and monthly acquisition and retention goals. You will participate in strategic outreach to secure new prospects and member referrals. You will also operate as relationship manager for your members and guests.

Tribe Team Training Coaches
Our Small Group Training Tribe Coaches can instruct, lead, inspire and motivate groups of 8 to 10 people in exercise activities ranging from cardiovascular, strength, and conditioning programs. Coaches provide instruction on movement cues while guiding the group in a fun and dynamic environment. Coaches work with people of all ages, abilities, and skill levels.

GroupFit Instructors
GroupFit instructors play a critical role, interacting with members and guiding them to higher levels of health and wellness through fitness classes. Fostering comaraderie, creating appropriate class formats, including movement/routine regressions, connecting members with GHF services, and living the GHF brand are the main job responsibilities. We offer 900 classes per week, and always need inspired, talented, and certified class instructors to lead them. Classes offered at all locations.

Personal Trainers
Personal trainers help bring out the best in our members, giving them the tools and motivation to achieve their fitness goals. All of our personal trainers are certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

CrossFit Coaches
CrossFit Coaches help bring out the best in our members by creating a community of athletes committed to each other’s continued improvement on and off the turf. Coaches are CrossFit Level 1 Trainers or higher.
Opportunities: CrossFit offers tremendous opportunities through continuing education, as well as being considered for other positions with Personal Training, Pilates, Tribe and Leadership roles. We are devoted to improvement and always open to new ideas.

Internships
Learn what it’s really like to work in the fitness industry. GHF college interns get firsthand experience working inside one of the nation’s most renowned health clubs. You’ll gain valuable exposure to all aspects of life inside a cutting-edge fitness center, spending time across multiple departments including hiring, membership sales, facility operations, service, personal training and marketing and public relations.
All internships are unpaid and must receive academic credit.

Maintenance
We provide exceptionally maintained equipment and facilities. We go to great extremes to create systems of preventative maintenance to ensure 100% facility satisfaction and safety.
At Gainesville Health & Fitness there is no such thing as “That is not my job”. As a maintenance team member, you will have an array of jobs with various levels of urgencies. The jobs are broken up into two categories: Facilities and Equipment. Amongst those two categories, there are three agendas: Preventative, Repair, and Project/Building.

Volunteer Opportunity
We offer a volunteering opportunity through FIT for ALL, a Fun, Inclusive, Training for Individuals with Special Needs. This fitness program is geared for athletes with development and intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome and Autism (but not limited to).
Volunteers will be partnered with our athletes to provide encouragement and engagement to ensure that our athletes will have a safe and efficient workout while having fun and building relationships. Volunteers will guide our athletes in cardiovascular and strength training workouts along with other circuit-style group workouts. Volunteers will be trained on how to guide our athletes through each of these workouts to ensure that everyone is prepared.
